AN AMAZING MONTH!

When I lauanched The Talent Magnet, I was very concerned that we would not have enough jobs or candidates. I am extremely happy to report that we have plenty of both in just our first month of operation!

This month The Talent Magnet has introduced 5 outstanding candidates to their next professional home! In addition, their are 15 candidates pending at multiple organizations. This is success is based on partnership. The partnership exists between The Talent Magnet and both our employers and exceptional candidates!

We are proud that in such a short period of time, we were able to establish strong bonds that resulted in mutually beneficial outcomes! The Talent Magnet has placed candidates with the most prestigious names in Advertising, Publishing, Financial Services, Communications, Internet/New Media and Fashion!


We are proud that such prestigious organizations have entrusted us with improving the quality of their workplaces! Our team is excited and honored to have the opportunity to work with such fantastic employers!

The future looks bright for The Talent Magnet! Our ability to "attract" extraordinary candidates is paramount to future success. We will continue to establish relationships with the most sought after employees in the country! However, without a "quality product" to offer, there would be nothing that would distinguish us from any other "generic" agency!

I appreciate all of the positive feedback I have received regarding this blog and the manner in which I conduct business. I look forward to meeting many more of you and your friends that you are referring!

DO YOU THINK THE RECESSION IS OVER?

So...I guess we can all breathe a sigh of relief...according to the "experts"; we are coming out of the recession! Economists and leaders of industry are appearing on all types of news programs, websites and publications - declaring the end of this economic struggle. Apparently, some of the banks the government gave billions to - are beginning to show signs of stabilizing. In addition, "PRODUCTION" numbers look to be on the rise. However...UNEMPLOYMENT remains HIGH...and NEW CLAIMS are continuing to increase. The nearly 14 month period of DOWNSIZING, LAY-OFFS, RESTRUCTURING has resulted in the WORST JOB MARKET IN NEARLY 30 years! Yes...it does appear that the FIRING has slowed considerably.
