Like most of you; I was deeply moved by the scenes coming out of Louisiana & Mississippi following the devastation by Hurricane Katrina.

Together with a PR professional, I have put together a program to target survivors of Hurricane Katrina that may have been relocated to the New York City area.

The Talent Magnet is offering "PRIORITY" services to these folks such as: resume writing & distribution, computer tutorial programs, interview & job search tips, and most importantly...immediate introduction to one of nearly a dozen prestigious employers that have expressed interest in assisting me!!!

If you know of anyone that has been relocated due to Katrina and is in need of work; please reach out ASAP!!!

In a further attempt to “do my part” to assist some of the folks so deeply impacted by Hurricane Katrina; The Talent Magnet is partnering with several social service and charitable organizations in identifying survivors of this disaster that may have been relocated to the NYC metro area.

The Talent Magnet is offering “priority” resume and job search counseling to any person who has been displaced and is now residing in the NYC metro area!

We will be actively seeking to establish working relationships with people that have at least one year of recent “corporate” experience.

The Talent Magnet will provide them with new/updated resumes and tutorial programs for all MS Office programs.

Our goal is to give these people a sense of hope, purpose and focus!

I am reaching out with the hope that you/your organization would consider partnering with me in providing qualified/skilled candidates, who could use a “break” an opportunity for TEMPORARY, TEMP-TO-PERM or PERMANENT employment!

DO YOU THINK THE RECESSION IS OVER?

So...I guess we can all breathe a sigh of relief...according to the "experts"; we are coming out of the recession! Economists and leaders of industry are appearing on all types of news programs, websites and publications - declaring the end of this economic struggle. Apparently, some of the banks the government gave billions to - are beginning to show signs of stabilizing. In addition, "PRODUCTION" numbers look to be on the rise. However...UNEMPLOYMENT remains HIGH...and NEW CLAIMS are continuing to increase.
