LIVE EARTH...THE TALENT MAGNET GOES GREEN









































I had the most amazing musical experience of my life...and managed to learn quite a bit at the same time.

Let me preface this by stating that I am in no way a "crunchy" "tree-hugger" by any means...but I was deeply moved.

On 7/7/07, I attended the Live earth concert held in Giants Stadium. The concert was held to promote awareness regarding many important topics including: Global Warming, Recycling, Protection of Natural Resources & Alternative Forms of Energy.

It was frightening to hear the research and results as they related to the way we have caused incomprehensible damage to our own environment. There are many things anyone can do on a daily basis to contribute to preserving a healthy planet for generations to come. I recommend seeing Al Gore's documentary "An Inconvenient Truth" it is eye opening!


The Talent Magnet is now looking into suppliers of recycled paper for resumes & any hard copy correspondence...as a small first step...but that's all it takes...a small first step!

  🔷 We Need More Human Connection, Awareness, and Truthful Sharing 🔷 It is very easy to believe that you are somehow LESS THAN, if spend time ingesting social media. There are so many celebrations, sushi pics, fancy vacay pics, etc., we forget that people only post what they want you to see. We rarely get the real, truthful, vulnerable, authentic content -- especially from those who we most admire. (which is the most useful) I am sharing something very personal about myself today that few people know about with the hope that it encourages others to know it's OK to be HUMAN 😘 It's also easy to get tricked into believing that we are having "human contact" because of all the emails, texts, and zoom calls we have in a day.
